Summertime!

Nothing says summer time like palm trees and flamingos! I had some extra cookie dough left so I decided to make it into a summer treat. Let me know what you think...
I also had some extra cake batter left and cannoli cream filling, so I made cupcakes. They are yellow cake filled with cannoli cream and topped with royal icing.

I also am in the process of working on my first ever wedding cake! It's a big task, but it has been so much fun to experiment. Take a look at these sugar flowers that I made...

Vegan and Low Carb? Why not?!

I've been trying to eat healthier and baking all of these delicious treats make me crave something sweet for myself. So, I came up with a sugar-free/low carb cold treat for myself and I also made Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies (recipe from Chocolate Covered Katie). They are both to die for! Oh, and check out the Penguin cake that I made...not low carb or vegan, but he deserves to be displayed! :)

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but a lot has happened since my last post!
I moved into my own studio apartment in Staten Island, NY! The move brings me new found independence and a lot closer to work. With a shorter commute comes more time on my hands to bake and I've baked up quite a few creations since I last wrote. Here are some of the treats, let me know what you think:
